Explore Simple Scripts & Designs Using a Pointed Pen
Michigan Association of Calligraphers is presenting a One-Day Workshop on creating simple lettering scripts, and simple, lovely designs using a pointed pen tool. This class will feature variations on cursive as well as calligraphic lettering styles using a tool that is both flexible and effective. Creative design work will flow throughout the day, and students will create a small art piece at the end of the day to showcase their new skills! If you attended MAC’s workshop in April, or if you have the supplies, you do not need to purchase a supply kit.

BEGINNER’S SUPPLY KIT: $20 add on fee
Three Nibs: A Hunt 22B, A Nikko G and A Hiro Blue Pumpkin
A Speedball basic hourglass holder
Four Pipettes (2) for transferring fluids and (2) to be used as additional dipping vessels
A Dinky Dip Holder with Two small vials (called Dinkies) and lids
A Small Vessel of Sumi Moon Palace Ink
A Small Practice Pad of Paper.

About the Instructor:
Vicki Corwin, a Professional Calligrapher with 24 years' experience, has taught numerous classes. She aims to help beginners develop skills with calligraphy tools and progress toward structured lettered alphabets. Vicki has served on the MAC Board of Directors for many years.
